Aadarsh GautamAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Aadarsh joined Redington as part of the 2015 graduate team after interning the previous year. He has previously completed internships at Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young and Absolute Strategy Research.
He now work closely with senior consultants to provide investment consulting advice to institutional investors.
He graduated from UCL in Philosophy & Economics.
Aaron KokAnalyst, ALM
Aaron joined Redington in 2014 as part of the ALM and Investment Strategy team. He works closely with the senior members of the ALM team and investment consultants to deliver world class analysis to a range of institutional clients.
Aaron holds a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Actuarial Science from University of East Anglia and an MSc degree in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School. As part of his undergraduate degree, he spent one year working as an actuarial intern at Aviva. He is currently studying towards the Fellowship of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries qualification and aims to be an Investment Actuary. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and table tennis.
Abigail is leading Business Development and Bid Management for Redington.
Prior to joining Redington, she lead the Business Development for Zafin, a fintech company that transforms product management, pricing, billing for Banks.
Abigail holds a BA degree in English & History from the University of Leeds.
Alex LindenbergSenior Vice President, Investment Consulting
Alex joined Redington as a graduate in the Investment Consulting team in August 2011.
Previously, he worked at an economic consultancy liaising between fund managers and central bank policymakers.
Alex holds a First Class BSc degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Cape Town, and an MSc (with Distinction) in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
Alex WhiteAnalyst, Developer
Alexander WhiteSenior Vice President, ALM & Investment Strategy
Alex joined Redington in 2011 as part of the award-winning ALM team. He now runs the research function within that team, designing and improving models. He is one of 6 members of the firm on the Investment Committee, and also specializes in LDI.
He holds a diploma in actuarial techniques, and an MA(Hons) in Mathematics from Robinson College, Cambridge. In his spare time, Alex trains Fujian White Crane Kung Fu and static trapeze.
Alexander AhariSenior Vice President, Manager Research
Alexander joined Redington in October 2014 to bolster its manager research capabilities and has assumed responsibility for the refinement of its operational due diligence framework. His career began in 1999 at Gerrard Investment Funds where he calculated multi-asset portfolio NAVs, leaving in 2001 to join Attica Asset Management's Fund of Hedge Funds team to support their research and portfolio monitoring activities.
He joined FoHF Eddington Capital Management as an Analyst in 2003 and was eventually promoted to the position of Fund Manager. The firm was notable for having produced positive returns in 2008 and for successfully honouring all client redemption requests against a backdrop of extreme illiquidity.
Since his departure from Eddington in 2010 Alexander has undertaken a range of contractual projects on behalf of asset managers and consulting groups on the topics of portfolio construction, manager research and operational due diligence. In his spare time Alexander enjoys motor racing and is keen to show clients that his commitment to risk management extends beyond the investment sphere, resulting in only one minor collision from which his pride suffered the most damage.

Anita GuzdarIn House Counsel, Legal & Compliance
Anita is part of the Legal and Compliance team. Prior to joining Redington, she worked in commercial private practice.
Anita graduated from King’s College London with a First Class degree in Law (LLB) and BPP Law School with a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course.
In her spare time, Anita enjoys teaching, cooking and travelling.

Arjun joined Redington as a member of the Investment Consulting graduate team in 2015. He works closely with senior consultants to provide investment and consultative advice to a range of institutional investors.
Arjun holds a First Class BSc degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and playing football.
Ben GrattonAnalyst, ALM & Investment Strategy
Ben joined Redington in 2015 as an Analyst in the award-winning ALM department, having achieved a first class MMath degree from the University of Oxford. In his spare time he enjoys playing a range of sports, including squash and football, as well as being a keen sailor.
Benjamin BlackburnAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Benjamin joined Redington, as a member of the Investment Consulting Graduate team in 2016. He works closely with senior consultants in the team to provide analysis and deliver advice to a range of clients. He graduated from the University of Bath with a first class master’s degree in pharmacy and last year completed his post-graduate studies at UCL. He enjoys playing football and golf during his spare time.

Carrol ThompsonDirector, Legal & Compliance
Carrol joined Redington in 2009 and is part of the Legal and Compliance Team. Her previous legal experience was in commercial private practice but she is now enjoying the challenge of working in a busy in-house department.
She has an LLB (Hons) in Law and holds a practising certificate from the Law Society.
Chris BrooksVice President, Technology
Chris joined Redington in 2010 and manages the firm’s technology support as Infrastructure Engineer.
Previous to Redington, Chris worked for Business Link doing a similar role. He started his career in technology at Stemcor, which is the largest UK independent steel trader. Chris holds a degree from Bournemouth University in Business Information Systems Management, and he is a qualified Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Certified IT Professional, and a VMware Certified Professional.
Chris is from Maidstone in Kent. In his spare time, he trains in the gym and plays football. He has completed the UK 3 Peaks Challenge for charity, and is currently training for his next endeavour, the nature of which is yet to be determined.
Chris BikosAssociate, Manager Research
Dan MikulskisManaging Director, Head of Defined Benefit Pensions
Dan heads up Redington’s DB Pensions business, having joined the firm in 2012. In this role Dan is responsible for overseeing and steering a business that provides investment advice to DB schemes, on both a retained and project basis, with over £350bn in total assets and pay the pensions of nearly a million underlying members. Dan’s focus is growing Redington’s market share in this area, with the end goal of helping more members reach financial security in retirement.
As a member of Redington’s investment committee Dan also has joint oversight for the investment strategy process, from investment modelling assumptions to fund manager recommendations.
Previously Dan held derivatives-trading focused roles at Deutsche Bank in Sydney, Macquarie bank and a macro hedge fund. Dan began his career in the Investment Consulting business within Mercer in London, where he qualified as a Fellow of Institute of Actuaries in 2007, and where he became a member of the Financial Strategy Group.
Dan holds a BA(Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
Dan SwainSVP Reporting Specialist, Manager Research Team
Dan joined Redington in September 2015 as their Reporting Specialist.
A dedicated Client Reporting expert in both the Institutional and Retail products space, he has over 20 years industry experience incorporating both the design and set up of the reporting function from scratch, to heading up established cross border European teams.
He is also a proficient Project Manager who has worked at companies such as Friends Life, LVAM, Lehman Brothers and Invesco Perpetual.

Dave McGovernHead of Marketing
Dave enjoys the challenge of making the complicated accessible. He’s worked in financial services for over 25 years with Scottish Widows, Standard Life, Fidelity and Hymans Robertson.
He currently heads up the Marketing team, which looks after Marketing, PR, Business Development and Learning & Development. Dave is really excited about helping Redington achieve its goal of helping 100m people become finically secure.
David BennettManaging Director, Head of Investment ConsultingDavid joined Redington as an investment consultant after twenty-four years at Goldman Sachs where he initially worked in fixed income sales, concentrating on UK institutional clients and central banks.More recently, David spent seven years working in the Pensions and Insurance Strategy Group advising UK pension funds and insurance companies. He was also a trustee of the Goldman Sachs Defined Benefit pension fund.David has an actuarial background from his time as trainee actuary at Commercial Union, and studied Mathematics at Cambridge.
David ThomasDirector, Financial ControlDavid is responsible for all aspects of Redington’s finances. He maintains the systems required for tracking sales from initial client contact to invoicing, he prepares monthly management accounts and annual statutory statements, and he ensures Redington’s compliance with all regulatory and tax bodies.David has held similar roles at Aurum Funds as well as within Aozara Investment Management, and has been responsible for complex fund valuations in several jurisdictions (including Bermuda, BVI, Cayman Islands and Luxembourg) in multi-currency hedge and CDO funds.David is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has previously worked as both an auditor and an internal auditor. He also holds a BA (Hons) in History from Reading University.
Dawid Konotey-AhuluCo-Founder, Lead Investment Consultant
Dawid is co-Founder of Redington, which advises large pension funds around the world. Redington believes there is a way to solve the pensions challenge, and that it involves bringing together great minds in conversation, as well as connecting unlikely dots to provide new and better ways for pension funds to reach their goals.
Dawid qualified as a barrister of Lincoln’s Inn in 1987, before transitioning into banking to work for Natwest Capital Markets in 1990. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2000 where, in his last role, he was Managing Director responsible for Merrill Lynch’s Pensions and Insurance Group, Europe.
In 2004 he implemented the market’s first full derivative LDI hedge for a defined benefit pension fund, making history in the risk management arena. In 2005 on the advice of his clients, he left to set up Redington, and hasn’t looked back.
After advising pension funds on their assets and liability management for four years, in 2009 Dawid took the lead in setting up the firm’s second business, mallowstreet.com, which is now the established online community for the UK pensions industry. 3000 members of the site represent over $2 trillion in pension fund assets through 500 pension schemes. Those running pension funds are brought together on the site with their peers to discuss common issues, as well as with suppliers of solutions to pension funds: banks, asset managers, consultants, lawyers, etc. mallowstreet won the 2011 award for best innovation in pensions and is at the forefront of technology and pensions.
Doug joined Redington in 2015 as part of the ALM Quantitative Development team that is responsible for delivering high-class analytics solutions.
Doug holds a First Class masters degree (MMath) in Mathematics and a PhD in Computational Biology from Oxford University. Prior to joining Redington, he worked for a global software vendor developing Market and Credit Risk software for investment banks. Outside of work, Doug enjoys running and cycling.
Emily BuckinghamAnalyst, Team Administrator
Freddie EwerSenior Vice President, Investment Consulting
Freddie joined the consulting team at Redington in 2012, he works with some of the UK’s largest and most sophisticated institutional investors on their investment strategy and risk management. Freddie Co-founded RedSTART, the financial education charity alongside two Redington colleagues in December 2012 and cares passionately about ensuring that young people have the knowledge and understanding they need to take control of their financial future.
Freddie holds a BA in Geography from Durham University, and spends his spare time skiing, playing tennis and following UK and international politics.
Graham KempDirector, Infrastructure
Graham manages Redington’s technology infrastructure and brings a wealth of experience to the firm. At Redington, Graham manages all IT infrastructure with the focus of providing a secure and flexible environment in which the consultants and analysts can meet and exceed the expectations of their clients.
In previous roles spanning around twelve years, Graham worked within technical architecture, infrastructure and systems administrations, as well all aspects of user and system support.
Greg FedorenkoVice President, Manager Research
Greg joined Redington in 2011 after completing a PhD in History from Cambridge University. He now works closely with the senior members of the Manager Research Team to provide advice to a range of trustee and sponsor-side clients on manager selection and monitoring.
Hannah joined Redington in July 2015 as Receptionist. Previous to joining, Hannah worked in sales at British Airways.
In her spare time, she enjoys various sports such as running, badminton, table tennis and dancing.
Harriet EllisDirector, Human Resources
Harriet joined Redington in 2014 as Head of Human Resources and runs all aspects of staff management. Harriet has 18 years’ experience in Human Resources and previously worked for VTB Capital and ING Wholesale Bank.
She holds a BSc Hons degree in Sociology from Kingston University and is also CIPD qualified. Harriet is passionate about HR and helping the employees of Redington to reach their potential.
Honor FellAssociate, Manager Research
Honor joined Redington in 2014 after completing a Geography degree at Cambridge University.
She now works closely with the senior members of the Manager Research Team to provide advice to a range of trustee and sponsor-side clients on manager selection and monitoring.
Ian MillsManaging Director, Investment Consulting
Ian has been advising institutional investors on how to get the best from their investments for almost 20 years. He helps his clients to develop outcome-based investment strategies that fully integrate liability and covenant risks into a single cohesive framework. Ian has particular expertise in setting investment strategy and liability hedging. He strongly believes that the best way for investors to achieve their goals is through clear and straightforward advice.
Prior to joining Redington, in April 2017, Ian was a Partner at LCP, where he was responsible for advice to a portfolio of UK pension scheme clients, ranging from very small (c. £10m) to very large (£1bn+). Before this he worked directly in financial markets having led Credit Suisse’s Insurance & Pensions Solutions Group, where he focussed on helping pension schemes to manage risks better. He was also a trustee of Credit Suisse’s DB and DC UK Pension Fund.
Ian is a Fellow of the Faculty & Institute of Actuaries and studied Mathematics at Durham University.
James Konotey-AhuluAnalyst, Marketing
James joined the BD & Comms team in April 2015 as a writer, working closely with the various teams across the firm to help shape and deliver insightful and engaging content.
Prior to Redington, he completed an internship at law firm Addleshaw Goddard, before working at mallowstreet as Content Manager.
James holds a BA in English Language and Literature from The University of Leeds, and in his free time enjoys reading, playing a range of sports and following his beloved Arsenal.
James ZouAnalyst, ALM & Investment Strategy
James joined Redington in 2015 as part of the award-winning ALM team. He works closely with the senior members of the ALM team and investment consultants to deliver world class analysis to a range of institutional clients.
Previous to Redington, James was a senior associate auditor at PwC in the investment management and insurance industry. He also has work experience in insurance and consulting.
He is currently part way through his actuarial qualification, holding a MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School, and holds a BA(Hons) in Mathematics from Christ’s College, Cambridge. In his spare time, James enjoys playing table-tennis and badminton.

Jinesh PatelVice President, Investment Consulting
Jinesh has extensive experience in supporting Corporates and Trustees in developing their DC pension strategies (governance, plan design, communications and engagement). Currently he is supporting an Independent Governance Committee (IGC) establish a Value for Money Framework and is helping employers deliver personalised default solutions. Prior to joining Redington, Jinesh worked at Willis Towers Watson for 8 years where he provided DC consultancy advice to a range of clients on all aspects of DC. Jinesh has also spent a year on secondment at HSBC Bank plc in their internal reward team supporting them in managing a complex pension and benefit change programme.

Jonathan LethamVice President, ALM & Investment Stratagey
Jonathan joined Redington in 2011 as part of the ALM and Investment Strategy graduate team, and now works with senior members of the ALM team to provide world class analysis to a range of trustee and sponsor-side clients. He also works closely with Freddie Ewer to launch and develop Redington’s RedStart chapter, which provides financial education to children in schools.
Previous to joining Redington, Jonathan worked at Thales doing post-graduate research.
He holds a BA in Physics from Oxford University, and a post-graduate degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Jonathan is originally from Perth, Scotland, and enjoys spending his spare time keeping fit and playing football and rugby.

Joe joined the investment consulting team as a graduate in September 2016. He works closely alongside senior consultants to deliver investment consulting advice for a range of clients.
Prior to Redington, Joe graduated from Imperial College London with a BSc in Mathematics. In his spare time he enjoys playing and watching a range of sports, including football, cricket and squash.
Karen HeavenManaging Director, Investment Consulting
Karen joined Redington as an Investment Consultant after eight years at Morgan Stanley, where she was a Vice President in the European pensions group, focusing on risk management for UK pension schemes.
Prior to joining the pensions group, Karen held roles in both equity and debt capital markets.
Karen holds a degree in Engineering, Economics and Management (MEng) from Oxford University.
Kate MijakowskaVice President, Manager Research
Kate joined Redington as part of the Manager Research graduate team in 2011, and now works with senior members of the Manager Research Team to provide advice to a range of trustee and sponsor-side clients.
Kate holds a BSc degree in Economics from Sussex University, as well as a MSc in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics.
Katie NyemeczProject Manager
Katie Nyemecz joined Redington in January of 2016 via the Return to Work programme, at the end of which she became a permanent member of staff as a project manager. Prior to joining Redington, Katie spent fifteen years in the Financial Services Industry, working at BNY Mellon, Standard Chartered and Barclays. She has experience of fund product development, and project management in Strategy with a focus on M&A execution and change management.
Katie holds a BSc Hons in International Business & French from Aston University.
Keillian TaiAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Keillian joined the investment consulting team as a graduate in 2015. He works closely with senior members to provide clients with investment analysis and advice. He is passionate about the RedStart initiative, which looks to develop financial literacy in school children.
Prior to Redington, Keillian graduated from Bristol University with an MSci in Chemistry. He is an avid foodie and enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.
Keir MacdonaldAnalyst, MRT
Keir joined Redington in 2014 in the Manager Research Team having completed a Classics degree at Oxford University. Outside of work he enjoys running and rowing.
Kelly McEvoy joined Redington in January 2017. Prior to this, she spent 13 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland where she was a Director in Repo Trading, covering Gilts and European Government Bonds. Her client base encompassed Hedge Funds, Central Banks, Securities Lenders, Corporates and Asset Managers. She is now a member of the Investment Consulting Team and works alongside senior consultants to deliver investment advice to the firm’s clients.
Kelly is heavily involved with Gender Diversity projects both in and out of work and has appeared as a guest speaker on panels in events across the City.
Kelly holds a BA in French and German from Nottingham University. She has travelled extensively and in her spare time enjoys the Arts, sport and spending time with her young family.
Kenny NicollDirector, Manager Research
Kenny joined Redington in August 2012 and advises clients on structural and regulatory issues concerning LDI hedging and implementation.
He oversees major projects in LDI and risk management, from risk policy and IMA reviews to major projects such as implementing 2xLDI investment managers. His expertise includes ISDA and CSA negotiation of commercial terms, techniques for risk management through netting, collateral management and subsequent impacts on liquidity and asset allocation, structured finance and balance guarantee derivatives.
Previously, Kenny worked at RBS and ABN AMRO for 10 years where he focused on Structured Rates. He also worked on several liability management exercises, culminating in the RBS debt buybacks and exchanges of their Tier 1 and Tier 2 debt.
Prior to working in the City, Kenny qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh.
Kristina joined Redington as part of the investment consulting graduate intake in September 2015. She works within a number of Redington client teams providing support to the firm’s senior consultants. Previous to starting her role at Redington she completed two internships at Cube Investing and Profin Partners gaining experience within areas of structured investment products and FCA regulation.
Kristina achieved First class honours in her BSc Economics and Accountancy degree at Cass Business School. She enjoys a variety of extreme sports including sky diving, bungee jumping and cliff diving.
Leanne MetcalfeAssociate, Team Administrator
Lee Georgs joined Redington in January of 2017 via the Return to Work program, at the end which she continued on a contract basis to execute several strategic projects for the firm. Prior to joining Redington, Lee spent over 15 years in the Financial Services Industry, working at Citibank and J.P. Morgan Chase in New York, RGP in Hong Kong and Credit Suisse in London. She has experience in in sales, sales management, sales strategy, project management, strategic planning, M&A execution, change and organizational development.
Lee holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MA in Fine & Decorative Art from Christie’s/Royal Society of Art and an BA in Spanish and Art History from Vanderbilt University.
Luis Torres FarrellAnalyst
Luis joined Redington in February 2017 after completing successful research projects for local and national government and at King's College London (KCL). Before university he undertook a school leavers programme at KPMG where he worked at the advisory economics and regulation team. He now works closely with the MRT team liaising with fund managers and helping to produce the quarterly reports for our clients.
Luis graduated with a first as a BSc in Political Economy from KCL in July 2016. He is interested in responsible investment and enjoys skateboarding and making a difference in the community in his free time.
Lydia FearnDirector, Head of Defined Contribution
Lydia joined Redington in 2015 as the Head of DC and Financial Wellbeing with the goal of playing a part in helping to secure the financial futures of 100m people. Redington work with a range of clients across the whole DC spectrum, from scheme design, communications and governance, through to investments and bespoke market-leading projects.
Lydia joined from the Barclays CE&S team where she was responsible for creating solutions and leading DC advice to pension scheme trustees and sponsors. Prior to Barclays, Lydia worked at LCP and Aon Hewitt, where she specialised in investment strategy and advice.
Marcin CeglarekAssociate, Technology
Marjorie joined Redington in January of 2017 via the Return to Work program, at the end of which she joined the manager research team to enhance the team’s liquid and illiquid credit coverage.
Prior to joining Redington, Marjorie spent almost 15 years in the Financial Services Industry. In 1998 she began her career in investment banking at Roberston Stephens in San Francisco. Later she was a structured finance credit analyst at Cambridge Place Investment Management, a hedge fund located in Boston and London. Most recently she worked in the disputes and investigations group at Navigant in London.
Marjorie holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mathias RasmussenSenior Vice President, Investment Consulting
Mathias joined Redington on the Investment Consulting Graduate Scheme in 2011, and he now works closely with senior consultants to deliver investment consulting advice across the firm’s client base.
Previous to Redington, Mathias worked in high yield credit analysis at Aberdeen Asset Management.
Mathias holds an MSc in Finance and Private Equity from the London School of Economics and enjoys spending his spare time cycling, playing football or playing piano.
Matthew LimAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Matthew joined Redington as a member of the Investment Consulting graduate team in August 2015. He works closely with senior consultants to provide analysis and advice to a range of institutional clients.
Matthew holds an MSc in Investment and Wealth Management from Imperial College Business School and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. In his spare time, Matthew is an avid rock climber and has climbed throughout Europe, the US and South East Asia.
Matthew ClearyAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Matthew joined Redington as a member of the Investment Consulting team in 2016. He works alongside senior members to provide clients with investment analysis and advice.
Prior to Redington, Matthew graduated from the University of Southampton with a First Class Honours in Biochemistry. In his spare time he enjoys playing ice hockey and cricket.
Melanie HahAssociate, ALM & Investment Strategy
Melanie joined Redington in 2014 as part of the ALM and Investment Strategy team and now works closely with senior consultants to provide investment consulting advice to a range of trustee and sponsor-side clients.
Previous to Redington, Melanie worked at Milliman as a trainee actuarial consultant in their life practice. She also has work experience in insurance and banking.
She holds a BA in Mathematics from Oxford University and an MSc degree in Financial Mathematics from Cass Business School. She is currently studying to qualify as an actuary.
Mette HansenSenior Vice President, Investment Consulting
Mette joined Redington's Investment Consulting team in September 2015.
She started her career in the investment consulting team at Aon Hewitt and most recently worked for PwC. She has a broad background in both trustee consulting and corporate consulting and has also spent time in manager research.
Mette is a CFA charterholder and holds an MSc in Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh. In her spare time she enjoys running and climbing mountains.
Michaela RizzoVice President, Investment Consulting
Michaela joined Redington as an Investment Consultant in 2016.
Michaela previously worked at Deutsche Bank, having held roles in European Pension Fund coverage and Debt Capital Markets. More recently, Michaela spent months volunteering in Nepal leading a charity team and a water & sanitation construction project, post their 2015 earthquake.
Michaela read Land Economy (Economics, Law and the Environment) at Cambridge University. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, volunteering and following international development.
Minuk LeeAnalyst, Manager Research
Minuk joined Redington in 2016 after completing an Economics degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has previously completed internships at J.P.Morgan and Stanhope Capital.
Miriam MurphyAnalyst, PA to Robert Gardner, Dawid Konotey-Ahulu and Mitesh Sheth
Prior to joining Redington Miriam worked as a Personal Assistant within the hospitality industry and also brings with her a strong administration background which she gained whilst working at a University.
Miriam has been studying part time for a Bsc Hons Psychology with the Open University, alongside working full time, and will graduate next year.

Mitesh ShethChief Executive Officer
Mitesh is Chief Executive Officer of Redington Ltd.
Redington was co-founded 10 years ago, by entrepreneurs Dawid Konotey-Ahulu & Robert J Gardner, to solve the UK pensions crisis. Our goal is to make 100 million people financially secure. Our financial education programme, RedSTART, is working to teach 1 million school children to budget, save, invest and give back by 2025.
Between 2005 and 2012 Mitesh held a number of roles at Henderson Global Investors, a FTSE 250 independent fund management company – from Product Specialist, to Director of Business Innovation and Head of Fixed Income.
Before Henderson, he worked at Watson Wyatt LLP (now Willis Towers Watson) as an Investment Consultant, specialising in Fixed Income Manager Research. Mitesh’s career began at Aon Consulting as an investment analyst, where he completed the bulk of his actuarial exams (Institute of Actuaries).
He qualified from the London School of Economics with a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science in 1999. After graduating, Mitesh spent a year in India studying at Tatvagnan Vidhyapeeth (School of Philosophy).
Mohamed FazalSenior Vice President, ALM & Investment Strategy
Mohamed joined Redington in 2011 as part of the ALM and Investment Strategy team. He works closely with the senior members of the ALM team and investment consultants to deliver world class analysis to a range of trustee and sponsor-side clients.
Mohamed started his career at HSBC and prior to joining Redington he was part of the multi asset derivatives sales team there.
He holds a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and holds the CFA designation. Mohamed is English with Tanzanian roots, and in his spare time he likes to travel and play sports.
Muqiu LiuDirector, ALM & Investment Strategy
Leo joined Redington as part of the ALM team in 2008.
Previous to working at Redington, he was a contractor for LP12 Consulting.
Leo holds an MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School, and is currently studying for his professional actuarial qualification. Leo is originally from China, and enjoys spending his spare time playing football and table tennis, and reading.
Nabeel AnsariAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Nabeel joined Redington as a member of the Investment Consulting team in 2016. Prior to working with Redington he practiced as a qualified Pharmacist, working with a variety of leading UK healthcare establishments both public and private, and developing into an operational improvement consultant within the sector. He now works with senior team members to provide investment and consultative advice to a range of institutional investors.
Nabeel holds a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from University College London. In his spare time Nabeel enjoys playing football and swimming, whilst looking for any opportunity to travel and sample world cuisine.
Natalie BeardwellAssociate, Marketing
Natalie joined the BD & Comms teams in September 2015 as a Communications Coordinator.
Prior to Redington, Natalie worked at Infinite Spada, a PR and communications consultancy. During her time at Infinite Spada she worked across a diverse range of clients, predominantly with UK and US institutional and wholesale asset managers and household name pension funds on strategic communication campaigns.
Neha BhargavaDirector, Investment Consulting
Neha is part of the senior consulting team on a number of trustee and sponsor-side appointments spanning the breadth of Redington’s client base and specialises in governance and dynamic risk management. She is also the lead consultant for the award winning GHG Pension Plan which has adopted an alternative governance model (to fiduciary management) which allowed the Trustees to be more agile and achieve efficient implementation without giving away the keys.
Prior to joining Redington, Neha worked in interest rate structuring and asset-backed securitisation at Merrill Lynch from 2006-2009.
Neha holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and a BA (Hons) in Mathematics from St. Stephens College, Delhi University.

Nick LewisSenior Vice President, Investment Consulting
Nick joined Redington's Investment Consulting team in April 2014.
Before joining Redington, Nick was part of the Investment Consultancy team at Aon Hewitt working with a range of clients on investment strategy and risk management.
Nick advises DB pension Schemes from £70m to £10bn of assets. Regardless of the size of the Scheme, Nick is passionate about helping clients get the most out of their governance budget so they can reach their funding objectives. As well as DB pension schemes, Nick advises Wealth Management firms, helping to deliver institutional quality investment solutions that can meet individuals’ needs.
Nick is a CFA charter holder and previously studied Economics and Maths at Bristol University.
Nick SamuelsDirector, Manager Research
Nick is a Director in Redington’s Manager Research team, where he has primary responsibility for Liquid Markets coverage. Working alongside other team members, Nick oversees the research, selection and monitoring of Equities, DGFs and Liquid Alternatives strategies.
Nick joined Redington in 2015 from SEI Investments where he led the firm’s research of UK, European and Global equity managers, along with being a member of their global Manager Research Committee. Nick started his investment career as a graduate in 2000 at Schroders, where he worked on the Asia and Emerging Market Equity teams, before moving into manager research roles at the investment consultancy Stamford Associates and the South African multi-manager Momentum Global Investment Management.
Nick holds a BSc Economics from the University of Essex, and the CFA Society UK’s Investment Management Certificate.
Oliver WayneVice President, Manager Research
Oliver is a Vice President in Redington’s Manager Research team where he has primary responsibility for the research, selection and monitoring of equity managers.
Oliver joined Redington in September 2016 from Willis Towers Watson where he led the firm’s research on UK equity managers, along with being a member of their global equity research team.
Oliver holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield.
Patrick O'SullivanManaging Director, Investment Consulting
Patrick advises a range of £1bn+ institutional investors including pension schemes, insurance companies and wealth management firms.
At Redington, Patrick helps those clients to put in place clear, outcome based frameworks, transforming the focus and governance of investment strategy – and integrating funding with investment and risk into one cohesive plan. With these frameworks in place, Patrick has helped these clients, where required, implement a range of innovative investment solutions – including protected equities, illiquid credit, absolute return and enhanced hedging strategies.
Patrick is passionate about helping to find a solution to the provision of sustainable income in retirement in a “post DB world”. This is why he championed “The Age of Responsibility” report with Lord Hutton of Furness. Understanding that investment is just one element of delivering better outcomes for DC savers, Patrick worked closely with Lord Hutton to carry out a holistic review of DC and wider retirement income provision.
Paul RichardsDirector of Strategy
Paul is Redington’s Director of Strategy and is involved with a wide range of strategic initiatives across the Firm.
Prior to joining Redington, Paul held a variety of senior industry roles including Head of Manager Research at Aon Consulting, Head of UK Institutional Business of Isis plc (now F&C) and was also a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Paul holds a Masters Degree in Research (with Distinction) from the University of Bath’s School of Management and also reached candidacy on the School’s PhD programme.
Pete DrewienkiewiczHead of Manager Research
Pete is head of manager research at Redington, leading a team of dedicated investment professionals responsible for the research, selection and monitoring of asset managers across both traditional and alternative asset classes. The manager research team covers a broad range of asset classes and strategies, with additional responsibility for implementing Redington’s strategic asset allocation advice on behalf of clients. Pete is a member of Redington’s Executive Committee and is also a voting member of Redington’s Investment Committee.
Before joining Redington, Pete worked at Royal Bank of Canada where he initiated coverage of pensions and insurance clients in interest rate and inflation derivative products as well as gilts. Prior to this, he was an executive director responsible for sterling interest rate derivative sales at UBS. Pete began his career at Barclays Capital, providing hedging solutions for banks, building societies and project finance issuers across interest rates, FX and inflation.
Pete holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Peter HowarthManaging Director, Technology
Peter is responsible for managing the development of new and cutting edge ALM systems and other quantitative tools in order to support the bespoke needs of Redington’s clients.
Prior to working at Redington, Peter held similar roles at Goldman Sachs, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and the RAF.
Peter holds a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
Philip RoseChief Investment Officer, Strategy & Risk
Philip is responsible for co-managing the firm’s quantitative analysts and driving innovative client solutions.
He was previously an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley's FIG Structuring Group where he was responsible for structuring fixed income and equity derivative strategic solutions for pension funds and insurance companies. Formerly a Director and Chief Structurer at Merrill Lynch, having started his career at NatWest Capital Markets in 1994.
Queency BelierDigital Marketing Analyst, Marketing
Queency joined Redington in May 2014. Her role is to manage Redington's digital marketing platforms and help its lead generation efforts, ensuring effective content distribution across different digital and social media channels to build and maintain online presence, increase brand awareness, website traffic and conversion rate.
Prior to joining Redington, Queency worked in the tourism, hospitality and online gaming industry.
Queency holds a BSc degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management from De La Salle University-College of Saint Benilde in Manila, Philippines, where she is also originally from.

Raja joined the Tech Infrastructure Team as IT Infrastructure Analyst. Raja previously worked at The Net-A-Porter Group as a Desktop Support Engineer. He has worked in various sectors and has vast experience in technology.
Raja’s interests include sport and music, and in his leisure time, he particularly enjoys playing football and cricket.

In 2006 Rob co-founded Redington because he felt there was a better way to solve the pensions crisis. Redington is now a leading independent investment consultancy. Its goal is to make 100 million people financially secure, by empowering individuals, trustees and companies to make better decisions.
Rob also co-founded mallowstreet, an online community for the pensions industry. Which works to solve the pensions and savings crisis through education and collaboration.
Rob’s passion is help future generations save more for a better financial future. Which is why in 2012 he launched RedStart a financial literacy programme. RedStart aims to plant the seed for the financial well-being of young people. In 2016 he wrote the children’s book "Save Your Acorns" to help 4 to 6 year olds learn about saving, investing and sharing.
Rob also chairs the Children's Savings Policy Council for the Tax Incentivised Savings Association (TISA). To ensure all children in the UK can live the financial life they aspire to. By equiping them with the attitude, skills and resources to achieve their personal and financial goals. Rob is also a trustee of The FairLife Foundation, which helps people save and invest money for their future.
Outside of the world of pensions, Robert is a tennis enthusiast as well as an avid supporter of Commando Spirit, a charity supporting ex-marines and their families; he abseiled down the Shard to raise money for them. He is also a board member of the Catalyst Club, part of Cancer Research UK, whose aim is to bring forward the day we cure cancer.

Rob joined Redington as a Vice President in the Investment Consulting team in August 2016.
Rob began his career at Lane Clark & Peacock, where his time was divided between manager research and consulting work for a wide range of Pension Schemes.
Rob graduated from St Anne’s College, Oxford with a degree in Economics and Management. He is a long-suffering Portsmouth FC fan, and enjoys (attempting) to learn new languages in his spare time.
Robin ClaessensManaging Director, Investment ConsultingRobin joined Redington in 2014 as a Managing Director, was most recently CFO of BBOXX Ltd, a young and ambitious start up which designs and manufactures “plug and play” solar based electric systems, where he had wide ranging responsibilities.Prior to this he was CEO and CIO of Invensys Pension Scheme (85,000 members, ca. £4.5bn of assets) where he was responsible for Liability Management, Asset Management, Corporate Strategy, Administration (Benefits, Accounts, IT and Payroll) and the Corporate Sponsor Liaison Strategy. He oversaw the fund’s Trustee Board and Governance & Audit Committee and chaired its Asset and Liability Management Committee. As CIO, he designed and executed a three step plan to upgrade the fund’s investments and risk management capabilities.Robin started his career at Goldman Sachs working initially in Corporate Treasury before moving into the Corporate Pension Advisory Group where he advised European and US corporations and their pension scheme on all aspects of pension strategy. He is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders’ Circle.

Shyamal BalaVice President, Investment Consulting
Shyamal joined Redington’s Investment Consulting team in March 2017.
He has previously worked at Towers Watson where he provided scheme actuarial and ongoing funding advice to a wide range of defined benefit pension schemes – advising both trustees and scheme sponsors. During this time, Shyamal was also involved in providing investment advice to some of his clients as well as working on other bespoke benefit redesign and de-risking projects. Before joining Redington, Shyamal spent time working in roles focused on pension scheme de-risking at both BDO and then subsequently at Broadstone.
Shyamal is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Economics with Actuarial Studies from the University of Southampton.
Stefano ZanteAssociate, Developer
Stefano joined Redington in October 2015 as part of the Web Development team.
Prior to joining Redington, he worked as a Developer in Imparta where he supported client relationship working closely with other teams.
After graduating in Computer Science from the University of Pisa (Italy), Stefano started his career in Capgemini, where he had the opportunity to work on development of national and international projects in sectors such as Sales and Energy.
Steven Yang YuManaging Director, Head of Asset & Liability Modelling
Steven Yang Yu manages Redington’s award winning team of quantitative ALM analysts. In 2012 he was named #2 in the Actuarial Post’s list of the Top 30 Actuaries under 30. Joining Redington in 2007, Steven was the second member of the firm’s ALM team, and began his career by helping to build a foundational analytical framework on which to build this core element of Redington’s service offering; in recent years, he has become a manager of the team and influences its strategic direction.
Steven holds an MSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School as well as a BA (Hons) in Mathematics from Cambridge University. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. Steven’s core passion is his work, but outside of it he enjoys swimming, table tennis and Chinese martial arts.
Susan StevensHuman Resources Project Manager
Susan joined Redington in 2015 as Human Resources Project Manager to deliver people related programs. Susan has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources and previously worked for Intelliflo and Toshiba. She holds a BSc Hons degree in Psychology from Roehampton University and is also CIPD qualified. She is specially interested in driving initiatives to drive up employee engagement and is responsible for reward & benefits and graduate recruitment.

Susie joined Redington in September 2015 as Assistant Financial Controller. Her role is to assist the Financial Controller with all aspect of Redington’s finances. Previous to joining Redington, Susie worked in finance departments in FinTech, foreign currency exchange, travel and retail industries.

Tara joined Redington as part of the investment consulting graduate team in 2013. She now works within a number of Redington client teams providing support to the firm’s senior consultants. Previous to starting with Redington she completed two summer internships at JPMorgan Asset Management.
Tara holds a First Class Honours in Biochemistry from Imperial College and enjoys a range of sports including Hockey, Netball and Sailing.
Tatiana von PetersdorffAnalyst, Investment Consulting
Tatiana joined Redington as a member of the Investment Consulting Graduate team in 2016 following a summer internship. She works closely with senior consultants in the team to provide analysis and deliver advice to a range of clients. Originally from South Africa, Tatiana graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a first class bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Polymer Science. She enjoys playing the violin and piano, and during her free time you can find her hiking or exploring London.

Tiffany joined Redington as part of the HR Team. Prior to joining Redington, Tiffany worked in industries such as Law, Advertising and Technology. Tiffany graduated in 2015 and holds a BSc Psychology degree.

Tom PilcherAssociate, Investment Consulting
Tom joined Redington as part of the investment consulting team in 2014, having completed an internship with the firm the previous summer. He works closely with senior members of the consulting team to provide analysis and advice for a range of clients, and also involved in RedStart: an initiative to provide financial education to school children.
Tom achieved First class honours in his BSc Economics and Accounting degree at Bristol University. He enjoys running, skiing and cricket.
Tom Wake-WalkerVice President, Manager Research
Tom is a Vice President in Redington’s Manager Research team, primarily covering liquid market strategies. Tom joined Redington in June 2016 from Novus Partners working both in New York and Zurich, where most latterly he was responsible for their entire European client base.
Tom started his career at LyonRoss Capital Management in New York conducting research and allocating to hedge fund strategies.
He holds a BSc in Economics and International Development from the University of Bath and the CFA Society UK’s Investment Management Certificate.
Wenyu BaiSenior Vice President, ALM & Investment Strategy
Bai is a member of Redington’s award-winning ALM team, having joined Redington in 2007 as an analyst specialising in longevity.
Bai holds an MSc in Actuarial Management from Cass Business School, and is currently studying for her last exam to qualify as an actuary. In her spare time she likes various sports, including running, archery and kendo. Her goal is to become an investment actuary who can help people to be able to enjoy their retirement with an adequate pension.
Yichen WangAssociate, ALM
Yichen joined Redington in 2016 as part of the ALM team.
Previous to joining Redington, Yichen worked at EY as an actuarial senior consultant.
He holds Masters and BSc in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economic from the University of Warwick and is currently studying for his actuarial qualification. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and playing violin.
